Schindler

             "Schindler's List" is probably the most authentic portrayal of the Holocaust you can get
             without being a documentary. No other movie has depicted, with such power, how one man
             changed so many lives around him. I'm not exactly fond of movies with violence or profanity, but I
             feel that this is a rare "exception". The direction of "Schindler's List" is superb. I couldn't believe
             how a movie that starts with such disturbing scenes and ideas could end on such a strong
             positive side. I had forgotten all about the violence inflicted on the prisoners, and, instead, I
             contemplated the strong example shown by Oskar Schindler in this fantastic true story.
             "Schindler's List" is one of those films that is so vivid and moving that it's hard to believe it could happen. Every time you see it you notice something new, I found myself looking at the expressions on people faces, people not directly focused on but people in the background to see the whole picture. I'm not explaining this very well but what I'm trying to say is that so many of the camp scenes felt so real that I felt like I was looking at a piece of history in the way you look at old photographs and stare at the details of faces and places that no longer exist. The way the clothes hung on peoples bodies the looks on their faces, their shoes, it was like the pictures jumped to life and you were able to see the events before and after the shutter closed. This movie shows the saddest history ever. It is the realization that millions of innocent human beings were murdered. I believe it also portrayed how people were incredibly weak to a hidden, sick power (Hitler). Thus, we should be extremely thankful that we live in a diverse and free society.
