Ban Jackass the Movie?
The show and movie Jackass is with a few guys that do crazy things that are to make people laugh. Some people don't really like the show because the parents think that the show is giving our kids ideas and might injure or kill themselves by doing something stupid that they saw on the show. These parents have been trying to keep the movie out of the movies because they don't want kids to get ideas from the movie. I personally don't think the movie should be banned. There are a few reasons why I believe this. The reasons are that it is parents' responsibility, individual responsibility, and the first amendment of the constitution. One reason why the movie shouldn't be banned is because of the parents' responsibility. The parents of kids should be responsible enough and tell the kids not to do thos
The boy who lit himself on fire didn't have a fireproof suit that the guy on Jackass had. It is just pure stupidity to do something like that when you have no protection. In other words, we have the right to act stupid if we want to. The kids should have enough common sense to know that they can get hurt. The boy was about 14, so he should be able to tell that it is dangerous to do that. The parents don't have total control of the kids but they can still tell the kids that those stunts are performed by people who have professional people standing by if something goes wrong. Some of these kids get hit by cars and lit themselves on fire because they think it was funny on the show. The movie Jackass shouldn't be banned for these few reasons. So this would give the movie the right to be presented. The last reason is because of the first amendment of the constitution. We would then not live in a society of freedom. " This basically states that we have the freedom of religion, speech, of the press, and right of petition. Also people should just use common sense and be more responsible.
