In act 3, the conflict between Polonius and Hamlet reached its limit, which caused the death of Polonius. Laertes decides to kill Hamlet to revenge his father's death. The king of Norway stopped him from starting a war. Fortinbras from Norway was trying to start the war with Denmark in act 1. Play within the play in act 3 shows Claudius that Hamlet knew what Claudius did to Hamlet's father. As Hamlet was planning to revenge, the conflict between Claudius and Hamlet was created.
