Animal Farm, by the Englishman George Orwell, is a story about animals overtaking a farm, taking control over it, and trying to change the world into a human less world. The fairy story took place in a farm called the Manor Farm which later in the novel became Animal Farm. In his book, George Orwell showed that communism is a form of inequality, it corrupts the communist leaders leading them to kill anyone in order to stay in power, and that communism was not a good form of government. In the story, Napoleon was corrupted by the complete control that he had and in order to keep that power, he killed some animals. Animalism (Animal Farms' government) corrupted their leader, Napoleon, and after having total control, Napoleon did evil in order to stay in power. Many countries like the Soviet Union, Communist China, and others fell proving to the world that communism will never work. The condition became severe for the animals at Animal Farm because they had no food, they had excessive labor, injustice, and they had no true freedom. At first, when snowball was there, things were the same for the animals, but when Napoleon got in power, him and the pigs had more food, better home, and didn't work. Napoleon cheated the animals, and he was unfair to them. For the pigs and dogs, Animalism was great because they didn't work and they wee living the good life; for the other animals, Animalism did not work. Napoleon, corrupted, deprived the animals of their freedoms for his own welfare. Animal Farms also tells us that in communism, most leaders are corrupted by their excessive power; that corruption may turn into violence like it did in animal farm. The harder boxer and the other animals worked they could not get any good because animalism did not work well. , In Animal Farm, Animalism did not work for them. Many corrupted Communist leaders, like Stalin, killed in order to have power. The most important idea that Animal Farm depicts is that communism is a bad form of government.
