A Very old man

             The third day of rain, were many crabs were killed. Pelayo was throwing the crabs to the sea. A newborn child was ill with a temperature; he did want to eat and was in bed most of the time. The stench of the crabs and the chicken coop were making the child ill. Every time it rain Mr. Pelayo would always clean his courtyard, because they are full of crabs that would climb to the bedrooms. As he was coming back from the sea, the light was very weak. He then saw someone in the floor full of mud face down. It was an old man with long enormous wings. He was trying to get up, with tremendous effort, but the rain must wear him out.
             Pelayo went in the house running to get his wife, for her to see what he saw. His wife has just put the sick child in the compresses machine. Both Pelayo and Elisenda saw the man with a silent of surprise. They also said he was dress like a rag picker. On his left side of his head were very small amount of faded hairs. Also had very few teeth in his mouth, and looked like a great-grandfather a very old man. He had very huge buzzard wings, dirty and half were plucked or damage in mud. They try to talk to him
             but he answer without any understanding, but with a strong sailor voice. Like he was speaking a different language.
             There was a woman that was the neighbor of Pelayo and she knows everything about life and death. They call her to come and see the old man. She mentions that he was an angel. The rain knocked him out. She also said "The old man with wings came for the child". Angels at those times were survivors, like someone they praise almost like their God. Pelayo pick him up and locked the Old man with enormous wings in the chicken coop. He then watches him from the kitchen with his gun-loaded ready to shoot if the old man does any movement.
             Went Pelayo and his wife Elisenda continued to kill the crabs; the child woke up without a fever and with a desired to eat....
