Time management

             1. Time Management- By using your time better you will be able to remember more for longer periods of time. If you spread your study time out, where you study small amounts of information for smaller amounts of time, you will remember more. Humans have a short attention span, I believe that this technique is the best at long term memory. Set aside time everyday to study.
             2. Study Alone- I like to study alone, because there are less distractions and I can get more studying done. By studying alone you will concentrate more on what you are studying than if you have a friend with you.
             3. Quiz Yourself- Go over your notes and quiz yourself to see what you need to study more of. If you have a study partner, you can quiz each other. By doing this technique you will be more prepared for the test.
             4. Take good notes- I have learned that studying becomes much easier if you take effective notes. You need to make sure your notes make sense to you. I have found that writing notes in the form of questions, like; What is Psychology? This makes me more able to remember what I have read. Even make flashcards with your notes to increase memory, and reread your notes.
             5. Don't do other things while you study? When you are studying is not a good time to watch TV or do other activities like eating. This takes away from the focus of what you are trying to study. You shouldn't talk to friends while you are studying, and I also suggest not to study with a boyfriend or girlfriend.
