As of right now where im going to be in five years is something that I can not see. I can tell youwhat i'd like to be doing, but that might not be exactly what is going to happen. I would reallylike to be able to play in some sort of professional football, but to most athletes that's a goal, butnever happens. I would like to coach kids as well. I have worked many camps before andunderstand what it takes to be an affective teacher/coach. Millions of people take part in some sort of sport on a regular basis, resulting in the needof coaches in an enormous variety of sports. All participants in every sport require the help andexpertise of a coach or instructor to get them started or, if they have talent, to enable them todevelop their abilities to the full. Besides an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding ofyour sport, to be a coach the most important quality you need is enthusiasm. Patience, tact, optimism, perseveranceand the ability to inspire confidence are the necessary person. Often head coaches have expert organizationalskills as they juggle their exceptionally busy schedule, involving everything from luncheonpresentations and talk show interviews to reviewing videotapes of previous games and evaluationof younger possible recruits or potential draft picks. Coaches work in a wide range of situations-gyms, sports centers, playing fields andoutdoor pursuits centers-in almost all weathers. For example,defensive ends coach, strength and conditioning coach, or a kicking coach. He oversees the daily practice of players and he determinesstrategy during a game. Many people in this profession were once college athletes who has turned to coachingas a career. The duties at the professional level and high school and college level vary. In smaller schools, he or she may be required to coachall sports.
