What would you change about Scout's education?
             If I could change Scout's education, I would probably move her up a grade or two. Calpurnia would give Scout paper and a pen and taught her how to write. And would make Scout write from books in the summer when it was rainy outside and she had nothing to do. And also, Atticus always sits in the living room at night and reads, and Scout will usually go in there and read along with him. I think Miss Caroline should of talked with the other teachers at the school about what Scout can do since she was in first grade when Miss Caroline and Scout had a comment or two with each other. I think Scout would get along better if she would be moved up because her ability to write and read would be more useful in third grade. Also she would actually be learning something and I think being with people who are more at your ability would make it easier for Scout to go to school. She doesn't like going to school right now because her teachers won't let her read or write due to the Dewey Decimal System the teachers are starting to use in the school. Scout would benefit more moving up to third or fourth grade because that is when everyone starts learning how to read and write and that is where Scout's ability is right now. Just because Calpurnia and Atticus taught Scout how to read and write doesn't mean the teachers should punish her.
