Albert Einstein

During the 20th and 21st centuries Quantum physics became a very popular and interesting science that little was known about. Quantum physics is the study of space, time, energy and the make-up of matter. Perhaps the most famous quantum physicist was Albert Einstein. He was one of the most well respected scientists that made significant contributions to the further understanding of quantum physics. He grew up in Germany being very interested in science. He later made some of the greatest discoveries. Those discoveries were significant in society back then as well as today. Some say that Einstein was the smartest man to live.Albert Einstein's life affected his decisions, which led up to him becoming a scientist. He was born and raised in several parts of Germany during the 1880's and 90's (Parker 5-6). His father was an electrical engineer. Growing up he was not an outstanding student in school, though he was smart and interested in mathematics, literature, music, and of coarse science. His own schoolteacher said, "Your mere presence here undermines the class's respect for me" (Balibar 14). Due to the collapse of his fathers business in 1894, his family moved to Italy. Einstein stayed behind but did make occasional v

He also made quite a few discoveries dealing with relativity. A year later he took the exam again and passed it (Parker 7-8). Albert Einstein discovered and changed many ideas of what matter was made of. That would mean that motion and time were only true to the observer and it's standpoint and is not absolute. Many scientists were arguing whether matter and light were continuous or discontinuous. "Albert Einstein's contributions to modern physics is simply unique. His idea was that since the universe's dimensions are in a continuous curve, if a beam could be shot out far enough, it would come back around and you would be looking at yourself, but in the future. E standing for energy equals the mass times the velocity of the speed of light squared. Due to his discoveries people were able to understand that matter and energy are the same thing. He worked at a patent office from 1902 to 1909 while continuing his scientific research in his spare time. Without Einstein many things might have been different or not been possible, perhaps even the coarse of history would have changed. Einstein proved that continuity and discontinuity did not exist and everything was made up of smaller particles (Balibar 29-51). Perhaps the most famous equation that he developed was E=mc2, which had to do with the particles that made up matter and their energy. He was also a major contributor to quantum theory.
