Comparative View of Advertising

View of An Advertisement in RelationTo Its Source and To Advertising in GeneralAdvertising is a means of making one's product known to the public. It is a way to promote goods and services to consumers. It notifies the consumer of the latest products on the market. It refreshes customers' minds of old products and unveils information on new products. For companies, advertising is the main resource for producing sales. It promotes the public's attention. It emphasizes attractive qualities to enhance the consumer's desires, hopefully ending in a purchase. It helps bring consumers to the realization of their need, or maybe just want, for the product. Advertising, however, can be manipulative because it only highlights desirable qualities. Companies make their product seem more appealing by concurrently applying eye-catching themes. Whether it is humor, wealth, sex, escaping, domination, basic sensations, or affiliation, companies always manage a way to make their product appealing to consumers. To help appeal to consumers, companies commonly use magazines as a source for their advertisements. For many years, magazines have been used as a source of entertainment. There is mass variety of magazines that appeal to man

The ads for musical devices in the magazine coincide with the music that also appeal to the youth. The clothing ads contain young adults, themselves, that wear the newest styles for the younger generation. Therefore, the simulation of the effects of the sun, as with the vividness of the ad, replicates the results: domination and prominence. This advertisement attracts to the public, not only because of association, but through the attraction of wealth, the attraction of domination and prominence, and the attraction of rebellion. Although there are a lot of the ads that deal with upcoming albums for urban artists, there are many other concepts within "The Source" magazine. Advertisements in "The Source" magazine are a perfect example of this. Since the magazine, itself, is mainly about music, the consumer who was attracted to the magazine will also be attracted to the music-related advertisement. "The Source" is a magazine that is centered around urban entertainment, which is continuously growing with each day. Also, "The Source" contains some ads for video games, which are generally seen as entertainment for the younger generation. If record companies did not promote their artists' albums in "The Source" or elsewhere, then how will the consumers be aware that the product is even on the market?Advertising concepts are generally the same, whether they are publicized on television, the internet, billboards, or magazines. Nearly, every article deals with hip-hop music or a hip-hop music artist. All in all, the ad invokes natural impulses and attractions that are common to all people, in one form or another. Therefore, Juvenile appears extraordinary. Other advertisements in "The Source" range from the focus of designer clothes to video games and from technological-musical devices to movies. On the picture of Juvenile, he has a white "du-rag" on his head and he is wearing an all white shirt, which has a somewhat illuminescent effect against an all black background.
