The Number One Reason not to Baby-sit
             I do remember a time when baby-sitting was the cool thing to do. Then I came to an age where having to do it was dreaded and it interrupted your social life. For me that age was in the 7th grade, however, I acquired the number one reason not to baby-sit in the 6th grade. So when you need an excuse feel free to tell this story. Its also a story that should never be forgotten.
             For most people it was having to baby-sitting younger siblings. Not in my case. My sister was too close in age. She was more like a twin than a younger sibling. For me, it was baby-sitting my cousins. One would think that being the oldest cousin would have its advantages. Not for me. It meant I was to baby-sit the younger cousins, because I was the oldest. The situation always seemed to present itself when I would stay the night with my grandma. Exactly how the situation happened this time, I don't remember.
             Unknown at the time, this was to be the final time I was to watch these specific three children. There children were Jamie, eight years old, Wrandi, six years old, and Carson, three years old. They were all from the same family and the children I often tended most. It began by chasing Carson around for three hours. I finally got him to lie down with me on the floor. I know what you're thinking, chasing a three year old around for three hours, big deal! Your right, this three year old has nothing to do with the number one reason for not baby-sitting.
             I am laying there with him. I am lying on my side and he is right beside me. I am rubbing his back as he drifts to sleep. In the background I hear the other two mumble something about pretending like they are dogs. Carson drifts to sleep.
             I look back to see Jamie. Let me remind you she is eight. Saying, "Master pleas get up." As she is saying this, she is pretending that she is a talking dog. She is on all fours crawl...
