Socialist and Marxist Societies

In the "Hunt for Red October", Tom Clancy explains Marxism by stating that it "...stripped away the foundation of human dignity and individual value. It also cast aside the objective measure of justice and ethics which was the principal legacy of religion to civilized life." Marxism directly refutes the belief in religion and what a religious lifestyle does to a society. When living in a Marxist community, personal morals and values are ruptured and torn away from an individual, they are useless when incorporated with a society merely based on social class and overall stature. Tom Clancy gives a precise description of what Marxism does to a solid diplomatic foundation and by removing religion from an entity only puts unjust materialism and irrepressible hatred back into the core. In my freshman year of college, I rushed a sorority and it all seemed like a beneficial experience. This process in the end grounds an individual, giving them a taste of how it feels to be important AND how it feels to be nothing to a society. ower of religion and all that a religious verve embodies. As a senior in High school, you hold all the power and respect. In High school, there are four grades and each grade is superior to the one below them. You own the classes below you without working for your earnings. You dictate the societal rules and thrive by mocking the younger grades. This wall can never be broken down because it is your permanent position in life, entrapped by walls. Without ethics and personal morals, our society would be chaotic and way too uniform to individual grow and succeed.
