Looks can be decieving

             My friend, Jayce, has a complex. Would have probably been the first words out of my mouth had I ever been caught in public hanging around with Jayce and his girlfriend, Renee. Why these words spilling out you might ask? Well, she was three years younger than he was. Which wouldn't have been so bad, except he was 15, making her 12. And at the time, to me, at 16, 12 still meant a child.
             I used to make fun of him all the time for it, saying I would never do something like that, just being a general pain because I could. The fact was, I really liked this girl too, she was fun to hang around and smarter than both of us(sad, I know) and the only girl I knew that liked the same type of heavy metal head-banger music we did, and the only girl I knew who could stand up to either of us when it came to video games. (Which was a huge plus for her!)
             Anyway, Halloween was rolling around and we had sort of a tradition on the night before Halloween, we would get together as many people as we could, grab as many guns and as much ammunition as we could carry, and blow each other to hell! In video games! Calm down, sheesh. But yes, we got together about 30 people in total, set up about 30 computers on a network and installed games like unreal tournament, medal of honor, battlefield 1942, doom, classic shooters.
             Well, I was going on my usual complaints how there are no girl gamers in our little town of Reading, just like I always do the day before we start the setup for the big games. That would be about the time Renee chimed in and said a friend of hers was coming, and she would bet every cent she owned that Sam could stomp me outright in any game.
