Homosexuality has been practiced for thousands of years. Simply put, homosexuality is defined as sexual relations between like genders (i.e., two males or two females). Many people now believe that homosexuality is part of who a person really is from the moment of conception. The "genetic and unchangeable" theory has been actively promoted by gay activists and the popular media. Is homosexuality really an inborn and normal variant of human natural? For some people yes, and for others no. Some people do not have their first homosexual feelings or experience until they are well into adulthood. For that reason that is why I believe that homosexuals are made, not born. To me homosexuality is a chose, learned behavior, or a phase someone goes through. It can also be guilt and fault issue.
             Some people believe homosexuality is an illness and believe it can and should be cured. Do human beings act the way they do because they are born with certain characteristics, or do they behave a certain way because they are taught a certain behavior from the environment? This issue often becomes critical when Christianity and homosexuality are addressed together. How could a loving God make someone a homosexual and yet condemn him or her for fulfilling his inborn nature? God did not intend for the same sexes to be in a relationship. If so He probably would have created only men or just women. That is why I believe homosexuality is a chose.
             Another view maintains that humanity is born with a clean slate. There are no pre-programmed requirements to be fulfilled. Instead, human beings behave the way they do because they learn to behave in a certain way. One environment influences, trains, and teaches a person to behave the way he or she does. For example, a hidden but unbearable fear of the opposite sex or a way to get love and acceptance from the same sex.
