World Religions
In the World there are many Religions. Most religions are the same with minor differences, or maybe they just stem off from a major religion, however some religions are totally different. There are six (6) major religions, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, and Confucianism. Islam is thought to be the pillars of Islam Koran. To them the sacred place is also Isreal and also called the "Promised Land" Confucianism was one of the major religion, but the thing with Confucianism is not a religion it is a way of life or philosophy. The Koran is like the Holy Bible for Islamics (which is a written version of what the angel Gabriel teachings). Jews don't believe that Jesus was the Savior just a prophet nothing more, also referred to as "Jews" they read pray and study from he old testament. Buddha was a Monk that taught himself how to escape the suffering of the world. Islam the final major world religion was founded by a man named Muhammad. Buddhism is based on teachings from Buddha. Buddhism started in India, but it was practiced in some parts of Western Asia and even parts of China. He used guide lines on how we should live. It was started by a Chinese scholar named Confucius. Mainly in India the religion has about 800 million people still practicing to the Hindu's the sacred place is the Himalayan Mountains, for it's peace and tranquility are a great way to bring the body and soul together as one. It's not practiced as much as it used to be it has been replaced in China with Buddhism. Hinduism is one of the world's oldest religion, with sacred writings dating back as far as 1500 BC.
