Overall, Lord Capulet, the Nurse, and the Friar are all responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Friar Lawrence begins this destruction of life, but there are many events in which he could aid in changing the possible outcome. / A greater power than we can contradict / Hath thwarted our intents” (V.
