I recently had a chance to take part in a very exclusive and personal survey. I had many mixed emotions about the whole thing. After taking the survey and finding out what "group" I was in, I decided to read about VALS, and what the hell they are all about. I must say that they are very interesting. I believe that a good ad that refers to my grouping, would be any kind cigarette or alcohol commercial out there. The whole thing seems so predictable. Overall, the VALS thing is not that bad, and I will try and recommend this to others, perhaps my roommate even. It asks you all the right questions, and groups you. I agree with this one hundred percent. The fact that they ask you a lot about how much excitement you like in your life is key as well. However, there could be one flaw to this whole darn thing. By the way, my grouping was indeed, and Experiencer. How much EXCITEMENT there is in your life. If you know someone, obviously, you wont need a survey to pin-point which "category" you would fall under. Their reason of being around is because of their beliefs. All of the different groups and their own distinct traits to isolate them from the others. I took part in that survey, and I think it categorized me perfectly. Also, I read about all of the 7 "groups," and they seemed to be fair.
