Paul
I have always looked up to my friend Paul and he has been a big influence in my life. Paul is three years older than me and when I was growing up I thought he was cool. Right after my other friends and I graduated High School we started hanging out with him. That was a transitional time between acquaintances and friendship. Currently we are good friends and we continually influence each other.In my life there are certain people I have especially admired and wanted to be like. There are certain people whose style I have liked and probably imitated. Paul A is one of those individuals I looked up to.Older brothers are a natural choice for admiration. Most kids look up to their older siblings. When I was a kid I didn't really look up to my older brother Matt, and I didn't want to be like him. I looked up to my close friend's older brothers. My friend Matt's older brother, Danny, was a skater and had lots of friends. We looked up to him. One of Danny's friends was the infamous Paul. Danny, Paul, and my older brother Matt are three years older than me and were in the same graduating class. Paul and I both grew up in the same small town and went to the same schools. Today Paul is a college student and an artist. When he returned he was a very talented skater, a cool guy, and a small town icon. Paul is a ruff guy and sometimes he looks real ruff like a homeless person. He has two turntables and a microphone set up in his mom's basement. Paul is the only one of my friends who busts out some good moves on the dance floor or at a bar. After High School Paul moved to St. I wanted to be a skateboarder just like Paul. When he got fired from the factory where we both worked (opposite shifts), and decided to move back in with his mom, I went with him. Shortly after the fight Paul got hurt skateboarding. He got kicked out of our high school for a couple years and moved to New Hampshire where he lived with his Mom's sister's quiet family and continued high school. Right about the time Paul moved back to Carlinville I started skating. He skates hard and he parties hard. My friends and I would be skateboarding and Paul would show up and skate with us. During the summer of 2001 my relationship with Paul changed from acquaintances to friends.
