The Game

             It's October 10th, 2003. The night is filled with exciting, intense and exhilarating feelings because it's homecoming. Homecoming is always a great time for everyone. During the day, everyone participates in school skits, the parade, and then watch to the game.
             As the parade starts, I look around to see all of my fellow football players sitting up on the fire trucks waiting to go through the parade. The next I know we are out on the street, and we start to move into line that goes through town. The best part of the parade is when I look around and see all of the younger kids running along side of the road waving and trying to talk to us. We are now moving down main street where all of the community members stand and watch. As my teammates and I go through the stop lights, the crowds of people send loud applauses as we're announced over the speakers. It's an unforgettable feeling because they are there to support my teammates and me on the upcoming game.
             The night of homecoming is the best feeling ever; it gives me that excited nervous feeling. The feeling that I get during the day before I have to be back to the school is one of mixed emotions. I have feelings of nervousness, excitement, and just mixed emotions of how the night will go. When I'm back at the school, the adrenaline rush hits me like a brick. As I sit on the bench in the weight room listening to music and putting my pads in my pants, I know it's almost time. I sit there staring into space just imagining my big first hit on the running back. It sends chills down my spine, and causes even more adrenaline to rush through my body. As I look around, I see the faces of my teammates, and I know that they are ready to lay everything on the field on this glorious night.
             It's now time, I jump up and head out the door. As I near the field, I see the glowing lights of the field. The crowd's roar echoe
