One of the largest and most well-known problems that exist in churches today is gossip. Gossip is spread easily throughout the church. False rumors are started and the rumor weed grows to uncontrollable levels. Gossip ruins the church and causes much conflict within the congregation. Even as the rumor weed grows, the church has the ability to prevent such a problem and come up with a solution. The solution just takes a little thought and thorough action to be solved. With the rumor weed constantly growing, the more people want to avoid the tremendous amount of speculation and stress that is brought before them because of rumors that have been told about them in relation to the church. Today, because of gossip, religion is no longer viewed as desirable. Small groups could be the only option that a person with a gossip problem could rely on without spilling out the information about exclusive things without hurting the person. The spread of gossip doesn't have to happen, but it's a continuous problem. Another solution to church gossip would be to form small groups that could be used to help bring issues into the open but not completely in front of a big group of people. One of the ways that the church could overcome a gossip problem is by creating a bigger gap of open communication between the congregation and the staff. Gossip splits the congregation and doesn't allow for close and honest contact between its members. With a little help of the church and the members of the church the problem can be brought to a solution. The church is meant to be a place of refuge. The monitoring of issues within the church will drastically help the congregation by telling them the truth and letting them have all the facts in one general sitting. They could implement a feeling of final security and refuge within the church. The separation between society and the church has a considerable difference.
