The Angel Trilogies by Lurlene Mcdaniel

             My book report is on the book The Angel Trilogies. It is really 3 books in one, though I did not know it at the time when I had selected it for my report. The first book in the trilogy is Angels Watching Over Me, the second is Lifted up by Angels, and the third is Until Angels Close My Eyes. I will begin retelling the plot of the story with Book One.
             Angels Watching Over Me is about a girl named Leah Lewis-Hall. In the first chapter of the book, Leah is in the hospital with a broken finger. Her mother and stepfather are on their honeymoon in Japan. Leah's mother had been married a numerous amount of times before, and Leah, as you would expect, was not happy with her new love of her life. His name was Neal Dutton and her mother's name was Roberta. The story of Leah's father was that he had "problems" and he thought that everyone was out to get him. Leah had no connection with her father ever since her mother and Leah left, and he had died when she was 10 years old. Anyhow, Leah's doctor did not want Leah to go home because he had still wanted to run a few tests on her. Leah did not understand why. On Leah's first night in the hospital, she had been given a roommate. Her name was Rebekah and she was about five years old. She was also Amish. Rebekah was checked into the hospital because she had been bitten by a spider and she had gotten terribly sick from it. Leah met the rest of Rebekah's family, and they were kind to her. Rebekah ad taken a liking to Leah, and Leah had taken a liking to her brother Ethan. As Leah had spent more time with their family, she had taken a great liking to them, especially her brother Ethan. As the days went by, Leah was getting restless in the hospital. She wanted to know why the doctor wanted her to stay for such a tiny thing as a broken finger for so long a time.
