             Is there a case for Applying censorship and if so who should be in charge
             The internet is used worldwide and has become an extremely useful resource used by people of all ages to find information for research, news or entertainment. The internet is also a wonderful medium for people to express their ideas and voice their opinions. With so much material available, some of it is bound to be inappropriate such as nudity obscene language, terrorism, and racial hate material.+
             The majority of information on the internet is very useful and helpful, but more and more inappropriate material is being posted on the internet by users. These users are usually referred to as 'cyber punk'.
             'Cyber punks' are polluting the internet with pornography, information to do with racial hatred, terrorism and other controversial material. Cyber punks can use the internet however they want without any real fear, as there is no authority, so there is less chance of prosecuting them.
             'Cybercops' are being employed to tackle this problem . Cybercops monitor activity and information on the internet, and there findings are giving the case for censorship more ground , so that it becomes more easier to clamp down on people and groups that provide the information,
             Censorship of information and material on the internet has become a much publicised topic. There have been lots of debatse on whether it is necessary to censor the internet, to maintain moral standards, and by doing this is it worth damaging the atmosphere of freedom to express ideas on the internet.
             This debate really took off when the Communication Decency act was introduced in 1995 under federal regulatory control. Anyone violating this law, at the time, could face up to 2 years imprisonment and $200,000. Its purpose was too keeping obscene and offensive material off the internet.
