Global Warming

The sun will rise tomorrow. Ever since we were children we were accustomed to a belief from experience that the sun will always rise. In fact, this is one of the most common models of how inductive reasoning does not always bring about a truthful conclusion. It is the uncertainty that exists within the philosopher or the scientist about the always-changing weather that tells one that, one cannot predict the sun will rise tomorrow. This uncertainty is in direct correlation to the study of Global Warming. Global warming is defined as, ìan increase in the average temperature of the earth's atmosphere, especially a sustained increase sufficient to cause climatic changei.(( From previous observations of the earth, one can clearly note that the planet earth and the seas surrounding earth are never stable. Continuous processes take place daily in the deep seas, storms form from the oceans and stretch their influence to the continents they surround, as well as the occurrence volcanic eruptions, rain, snowfall, and earthquakes. Before diving into the factors contributing to Global Warming, which in other words is the imbalance of heat for the Earth, I believe it is important to talk about the models that physicists and biophysicists have previously made and the current models being used.
In the 1980ís, the General Circulation Model, which in previous years focused only on the atmosphere, began dealing in both atmospheric and oceanic studies. An issue of great importance became added on to our knowledge in effect because of this model change. In the late 1980ís, it was discovered that the clouds were not only composed of moisture, but also had human residue in it such as dust and chemicals. Such residue is called Aerosol. In addition, there was a discovery that ìclouds tended to cool the planet strongly enough so that small changes in cloudiness would have a serious feedback on climatei.
