Nowadays, many people form opinions on others solely depending on their style rather than what's most important, substance. People tend to judge upon what others appear to be or what is presented rather than really understanding the basis of that individual. This trend among many, affects not only the outcome of our lives but the way we view life and our main leaders. Hopefully in generations to come this trend will diminish allowing us to judge based upon the substance and key of an individual.
             In my opinion, substance is far more valuable and significant than style. The details of a person concerning dress, presentation, and personal characteristics have absolutely nothing to do with the substance. Many are mislead by the appearance of someone which can sometimes cause serious problems. For instance, someone who may look extraordinarily poor and uneducated can be someone of great power and overall literate. Basically my entire life I have seen the same exact man walk the streets of my town, day and night, summer or winter in the same exact clothes. Only recently did I discover that he was one of the wealthiest men in Westchester due to his inheritance passed down by family. Before I attained this knowledge I judged based only on appearance disregarding his substance. Now, after personal experience I have ultimately learned that judging someone without knowing who they are and what they consist of leaves us right back from where we started, not knowing them at all. If we can't see past appearance then judging can be a tremendous error.
