The assignment I created, 'Create A New Word' has been adapted to the learning skills and intellects my mind and body as become accustomed to. For example, the assignment has been tailored to fit the lifestyle and learning habits of a multitalented, and functional student. A visual learner that has secondary auditory skills will do quite well because of their abilities to multi-task. The project gives examples of this when it refers to the note cards. Visual learners, such as myself, are very good at taking notes, and the auditory section of the brain will do well during the oral presentation of the information required. In addition to the visual and auditory advantages, a balanced brain and motivational status are also factors in support of successfully completing this project. Balanced brain people can use their left brained knowledgeable logic to brainstorm for words in association to the assignment, and then switch to their right half to use their creativity to top off the project and make the 'big picture' inclusive. Social classification of motivational status, such as Wise Owl, Diplomatic Dove, Social Peacock, and Dominant Eagle, all slightly balanced will also help to create an even and comprehensive project. Furthermore, the multiple intelligences come in to play when creating a project so as this. Being the Socialistic person I am, I tend to score above five in categories such as Linguistics, Visual/Spatial, and Interpersonal Intelligences. This project is designed for those intellectual abilities by adapting linguistics and interpersonal into an oral presentation, and Visuals into notes, writing, reading, and artistic brain exercises such as drawing. All of these intelligences, and learning abilities have been compressed to fit this project into the pocket of its beholder.
