Native Americans
When talking about Indians who lived in North America we actually refer to people who are called Natives. For a long time they have been known as Indians because of a wrong belief of an very famous Italian explorer Christopher Columbus who said, that the Americas were the lands of the Indies. Today this belief is proven wrong and the lands and the people that were found by Columbus were there way before he was even born. Thousands of years these people, today called Native Americans have been living on the lands of North America. A theory is that all came from Asia and Alaska in a series of migrations. All the people that migrated to the continent formed small groups called tribes. Each one of them unique with their own language cultural beliefs and ways of life. Roughly the continent was split into 6 major regions. Due to the different geographical features that the continent has, all the tribes from all regions had to adopt different ways to survive causing different ways of living and each tribe to be unique. One of the major and most populated by Native Americans region was the Northeast and Central plains. With its geographical comfort ability a lot of Native Americans tribes such as the Menominee, Erie, Iroquois and ma
They came up with a lamp that used whale oil to burn as a fuel. When talking about Eskimos we refer to a number of groups inhabiting the coastline from the Bering Sea to Greenland and Siberia. They hunted animals such as black bears deers and beavers that lived in those areas. In the traditional Eskimo tribes the division of labor between the men and women was strict. One thing that makes them way too different then the rest of the tribes is that they would eat raw meat. Tribes such as the Iroquois and other tribes from other regions such as the Aztecs had big armies but were never interested in using them to expand their lands. Wether it was cold winter, hot summer, or anything else that each tribe from all regions went trough, they all managed to survive over and over until the Europeans came with their barbaric ignorance and destroyed everything that was once AMERICAN. Eskimo tribes wouldn't get in fighting. Simply because they were nice to each other and it was out of boundaries for other tribes to reach them all the way in Alaska. They also hunted animals that were most in that region such as rabbits, deers and antelope. People that lived together in a group would not have anything personal. Their religion was different from other tribes like the Hopi because the Eskimo tribes did not have believes such as that there is god for plants animals soil. They are also very immune to sicknesses caused by cold weather. Also education was a big part of the lives of Natives in some tribes. They grew all kinds of foods starting from beans to fruits.
