Endeavors to Soar
Unlike the little bird in this poem, I do have financial aid. There is however an underlying statement. What I lack is an excessive amount of knowledge in the field of my choice, as well as better English writing skills. Deep down in my heart, I do have the will and ambition to work hard at these goals. Since the age of nine I have possessed a great deal of admiration towards writing and acting. It has been my goal since that time to become a successful renowned writer, actor and director. My reason for seeking a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies degree is to lengthen my knowledge and experience in writing literature, focusing in the areas of fiction and screen writing. In addition to literary studies I would like to continue practicing the trade of directing film and stage plays. Sometime in the future I look forward to teaching creative writing, screen writing and directing to high school and college students. I strongly feel that earning an ML
The MLS program is one of the avenues in which I can benefit from and wish to take at this time. So that I may better meet the qualified standards set at Regis as well as within my profession. I received previous experience within an academically guided independent studies' program at Metropolitan State College of Denver. However, now I feel the need to learn and experience more of the technical procedures related to my field of study and trade. I am very ambitious and strive with great perseverance in obtaining my goals. This dream of mine is accomplishable. I am an intelligent individual who believes in myself. S degree at Regis University will be extremely helpful to me in acquiring my dreams and goals within the field I have chosen. Therefore I perceive that I will do extremely well in this type of program and look forward to a gratifying, successful experience within it. Maureen Langcaster, (Director of Adult Learning Services), along with other faculty and staff personnel in departments related to my field of course work as an independent studies major. Availability to work was gradual at times, and sometimes there was no work for about a month. I feel within me there is a tremendous amount of creative talent I wish to share with the world. It will be an honor and challenge to work with the highly qualified individuals who will assist me and oversee my accomplishments at Regis. " That is a good characteristic to have but being ambitious will not earn a swimmer the gold unless he/she, is willing to be patient at perfecting their talent. I had the opportunity of structuring my course outline geared towards obtaining the Bachelor of Arts, Individualized Studies: Fundamentals of Film degree.
