Philosophy of Education

             Every teacher wants their classroom to be a great learning experience for both them, and their students. The problem with this is that the teachers do not always know the best way to go about doing this. There are certain tactics teachers must do in order to gain the respect of their students for them to have a positive teaching experience. The earlier they discover these tactics, the better experience they are going to have as teachers.
             The most important tactic teachers must do to have a positive experience is developing a relationship with the students outside the classroom. What I mean is, find out a mutual subject that you and your students can talk about outside of school. You might talk to them about hunting, sports, or maybe simple things like your favorite kind of candy bar. If you can develop this kind of relationship, the student will want to learn what you are teaching them. The student will want to keep that other relationship you have with them on the subject outside of the classroom, and do not want to jeopardize it by screwing off in class. After all, we as teachers are role models to these students. We might be the only adult the student has a personal relationship with.
             Another important tactic for you to use in your classroom is to set class rules at the beginning of class. Focus primarily on respect. You do not want to be a police officer when stating these rules and make the students instantly fear you. Make jokes when talking about the rules so the students know that you are being serious, but at the same time know you have a sense of humor. As a teacher, you always want to approachable for your students.
             Another tactic is having a colorful classroom. Put posters and pictures on your walls inside your classroom. You do not want your class to be dull and plain. Have a classroom where kids are going to want to go. You do not want students to be walking to your class thinking
