Goals for Success 2
             As I begin this new chapter in my life as a student, there are many goals that I hope to achieve. Goals that I feel will define my success as a student, and a professional. I have realized that to reach my many goals, I need to be aware of strengths and weaknesses I hold. In doing some self discovery I will be able to identify potential obstacles I will need to overcome, and what strengths I can rely on to help me through.
             My main objective at this point is to be a successful student. To do this I have set some smaller goals that will aide me in my quest to become a successful student. One such goal is that I would like to obtain knowledge not only from my instructors and course materials, but from my fellow students as well. I feel that I can grow not only as a student and professional, but also as a person as long as I truly open myself up to learn from the experiences and knowledge of my classmates. As I gain knowledge I will be able to build my self confidence. Through gaining self confidence I believe I will make a much more valuable and well rounded employee. The more self confidence I have the more willing I will be to put myself out there. In the professional world I need to be able to give my input, make mistakes and accept constructive criticism. The ability to do give and receive will require that I build my self confidence. Self confidence allows me to speak my mind, make mistakes and take criticism without letting it break me.
             One of my other smaller goals is for my classmates to learn from me. I hope that I can bring something special to each class that will help others grow. Each person has unique experiences and points of view. I hope that my willingness to share my personal experiences will help my classmates.
