Consumerism

             Nowadays, consumerism is one of many concerned topics of scientists, and researchers. They try to find out how and why do people waste money in such expensive things, such as clothing, electronic items, cars, technological devices ...etc. The consumption is also a huge subject, which is usually mentioned in many articles.
             One of many reasons that makes consumer spend lots of money for their consumption is advertisement. Billion of companies throw their commercials into market as many ways as they can. They will show their brand names on TV, magazines, in movie theaters, malls ...etc. To attract consumer, companies have million ways to entice people by advertising. I believe that is right. If a company wants people know about its name or products, they then try to make an attractive poster or a nice page in magazine to advertise their products to the public. Containing a nice explicit picture and attractive colors, the poster is made to send an implicit message -the key- to consumers; this key will convinces people to buy products. For an example, to attract the ladies, many nail suppliers try to make their posters as sweet as they can. They draw many soft pictures, and colors, which can tell the woman that if they use these paints, they will be more beautiful, they will have more attraction to get men; ladies will then buy these products impetuously. Or as many girl toys companies try to make the parents buy toys for the daughters, these companies give directly their advertisements to the girls. They make their ads with the happily dolls, flowers, and many cute colors, which can tell girls that they are doughy, weak, dependent, or girls will become the mothers, ladies of houses. Wanted to become good mothers, these girls claim their parents to buy these toys. Companies also bring up their commercials on TV; I think it is the best way for them to make people buy products.
