Through these mistakes, however, I have discovered that making a mistake is the best way to learn.

Mathematics has also taught me a great life lesson about making mistakes. I have learned that being exposed and introduced to views and approaches other than my own is very valuable and it will allow me to be more successful. It has taught me the great importance of being open-minded in life.

My passion for math has significantly impacted my life. Most importantly, math has opened my eyes to many new lessons that will allow my to never give up and always succeed.

I have also learned not to be judgmental and look down on people different than myself. Mistakes in math have taught me many lessons about life as well. Mishaps are common and thus I have taught myself how to stay focused and how to learn from temptation. People’s different opinions and approaches may help me and they may allow me to become more knowledgeable on the subject. I have discovered that I am not always correct and that I do not have all the answers in life, therefore, I have to be open and aware to others opinions and points of views to get the most out of life. The true universal human language is composed of numbers. Mathematics has taught me how to have persistence and determination present in my life, not only in school but also in extracurricular activities such as sports. It has allowed me to discover its importance and universality. I have discovered that consistency, diligence, dedication and hard work are the keys to success in academics and life in general.
