Making the Most of My Qualities

             Asks a poet. He says that if we merely stand at the foot of a hill and keep looking up at the sky, it's impossible that we shall be able to climb up to the top of the hill. We cannot climb a hill unless we try. To achieve our goals in life, we have to work hard but besides that the most important thing is that we ought to know ourselves. We should discover the qualities and talents hidden deep inside ourselves and learn to expose them in every way we can. Everybody has some hidden abilities. Each and every person is unique in his own way. What we should do is discover them and make good use of them.
             'If you have a talent, use it in every way you can. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.' (Brendan Francis)
             People around me say that I posses a great number of qualities... Please don't let me lead you to think that I posses qualities similar to that of superman or some other fictional character rather, I have what you call very normal qualities... Moreover, you never know that these 'normal qualities' might actually be unique.
             The question here arises that how I can put them at use... or utilize them to their fullest content. So lets start with self-confidence, which is the first and foremost quality a person should have. If a person doesn't have confidence in himself... if he doesn't trust his abilities, then there is no chance that he will succeed in life. There was a time when I too was lacking confidence in myself. To overcome this, I started participating in various extra-curricular activities. I began to think about my abilities in a positive manner and did everything with faith in myself. I began to practice phrases like 'I can and I will do it'.
