Bright light city gonna set my soul on fire. Blinking lights, bright lights, and elaborate hotels. This city to some may be considered ugly during the day but beautiful at night. This place is considered sin city. Las Vegas the place where people have hopes of winning lots of money but usually end up going home a loser.
Being a 24 year old woman I need to get my Vegas fix every 6-9 months. I'm not a huge gambler. I don't know what it is about walking through all the different hotels. Even walking outside is nice. You have a gorgeous water show at the Bellagio, which is one of the more upscale hotels. Then you have a pyramid shaped hotel that resembles Egypt. Across the street you have a hotel that looks like a mini New York City. Further down you end up in a mini Paris. The best to me is walking through Caesars Palace I love shopping and this hotel has a great indoor mall. Going downtown to Las Vegas is cool it reminds me of the old school Vegas the Sinatra era.
Driving to Las Vegas you would be surprised to find me listening to Old Blue eyes. If I could go back to that era I would do it in a hear beat. You know he was the King of Vegas and still is a legend there. You can find his pictures and most of the hotels and his music still playing. I do think if he was still alive now he would be disgraced with the way Vegas has turned out. Knocking down most of the old hotels down and making Vegas child friendly.
What do a 65-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman have in common? Some may think not a whole lot but my mom and I have a lot of things in common. Las Vegas is sure not one of them. Hate seems to be a strong word to some but not to my mother. My mom hates Las Vegas and hates Frank Sinatra. My mom thinks it's either to hot to be walking around in Vegas
