             In Self Reliance Ralph Waldo Emerson writes that a person must be self reliant and rely
            
             on themselves and nature for answers.
            
             To believe your own thought, to believe that what is true for you in your private heart is true for all men, - that is genius. Speak your latent conviction, and it shall be the universal sense; for the inmost in due time becomes the outmost,-- and our first thought is rendered back to us by the trumpets of the Last Judgment.
            
             Emerson believed that it is important to trust your own beliefs and refer only to yourself
            
             and not to anyone else. He believed that a person should trust his own judgment of things.
            
             And always try to search deep inside themselves for answers. He believed that in life a
            
             person has to be able to refer to himself for everything, that a person needs to be able to
            
             live life on his on and stand on his own two feet.
            
            
             Emerson also thought that it is important to be yourself and act like no one else.
            
             There is a time in every man's education when he arrives at the conviction that envy is ignorance; that imitation is suicide; that he must take himself for better, for worse, as his portion; that though the wide universe is full of good, no kernel of nourishing corn can come to him but through his toil bestowed on that plot of ground which is given to him to till.
            
             Emerson says that a person should act like himself not act like someone else, no matter
            
             what type of person he/she is, he believes that one should always act as themselves. You
            
             must be the way you are, the way nature made you.
            
             Emerson believes money cannot bring a person any happiness, only living and relying on
            
             yourself can bring them happiness. He says one should base their life on the present and
            
             live naturally, not relying on money or riches. He believes that money makes one lose
