World War II
World War II began in the year of 1939 and lasted until 1945. It was the most devastating war the world has ever faced. Many countries fought in this war, and consequently, had numerous casualties, both from people in the military as well as civilians. The United States played a major role in the outcome of this tragic war. The U.S., even though it went through many catastrophic events, there were also many turnover events which led to succession of the country. One of the most important questions is, "What initiated World War II?" It was the fact that peace could not be kept between countries. After World War I, many of the countries disagreed upon certain policies. The French and British were good examples. The United States went into isolation because Europeans wouldn't give back their war debts from World War I. Peace attempts were made in the 1920s, however, most of them failed. The League of Nations formed, which enabled countries to settle the arguments they had against others. After several peace arrangements, the nations faced a new threat: Fascism. Most of the military associates chose to leave the capital and go to places in northern and southern Germany. while they attempted to take over Southeast Asia. Some couldn't stand taking the pain or watching their children suffer.
