If I was stranded on a desert island with all my classmates, there would be a few things that I would want to accomplish. First of all, the class would pretty much be divided into various subgroups, some of which would be physically stronger than others. I would align myself with one of these groups, so as to assure my safety. Once I am with this stronger group, then we would pretty much own all of the weaker groups, and make them salve around for us, and get us food and things needed for survival. We would be bossy, but that's the way life is.
             Hopefully, the stronger group will make a sturdy structure to use as a dwelling or hut. Once that is complete we will try to build a fire, and if we are successful, we can cook the food the weaker groups went to gather. Of course we would share the food amongst everyone, and hopefully after enough time, we could fully function as a small society living within the island.
             We would definitely designate someone to make rescue signals (like in the movies, with the big "HELP" signs made out of various sized stones) for passing planes to see. We would also use the fire we previously made to make flares to signal planes to come rescue us. We would designate a few logical people who are good at building things (maybe the same people who built the shelter) to build a boat which could fit all of us (or a few boats to fit us all), and try to get off the island by boat.
             If this island is barren, and there is no food on the island, then, realistically, the weakest person would probably be killed in order to feed the rest of them. In these situations, people would get over the cannibal thing pretty fast, and do anything to survive. If we are on the island for a very long time, one by one the weakest people would be picked off until there are no people left.
