If you had a loved one who was seriously ill, it would seem as though you would do almost anything to help them. Now what would you say, if there was a sollution to many of the illness's that plaque our world today, thats reliable, effective and harmless. How much, would probablly be your answer. Embryonic Stem Cell research is a method used to treat diseases that are results of cellular disfunction, such as Parkinsons disease, heart disease, cancer and some birth defects. The stem cells can provide a renewable source of cells and tissues for replacement of damaged ones. Some people would argue that using stem cell embryos to cure people is murder. They believe that an embryo is a living organism and killing it would be like killing a human. If stem cell use were more widely supported the death rate for humans would signifigantly drop and there would be cures for illnesses we never dreamed of. Blood probelms are very common in all types of people, infants,children,adults and seniors. This advancement could eliminate the skin diseases such as melanoma or cancer of the liver. The use of stem cells could greatly alter the disease rate in America and the rest of the world. Imagine a world where if you had an illness or a disease that you could get rid of it. Its a remotely simple procedure and almost 100% effective. Such diseases as cancer or birth defects are harder to rid of because there defects are due to cell division. Its incrediblly safe and to medical attention has no side effects. Anyone that does follow stem cell research and supports it couldn't give you a good reason why not to use this method of curing illnesses. It would increase the chances of life for many patients who have thrown away there chances of furthering theres. and and cancer would be almost unknown. Stem cell research could also provide a number of advances to our future generations. If we use stem cells to there full potential we could rid the world of diseases. The process of stem cell use is a slow but effective one.
