Forgiveness vs. Vengeance

What is forgiveness? To me forgiveness is somethning many people never learn in their lives. Forgiveness is to love someone in spitof all their short comings. We as humans, must somehow learn the art of forgiveness, if we are ever going to be truly happy in life. For me, as a christain,"Why is forgiveness so hard?" Because, not only as christains it is our human nature to seek the evil act of revenge when someone hurts us. You say, "What is Vengence?"Vegence is the act of causing harm or hurt to someone, who has caused hurt or harm to us. Many times we as humans choice to hate someone instead of loving them. In the bible it says to turn the other cheek, but for many of us that is always the hardest thing to do. As the Bible tell us on many ocassions, "Vengence is mine saith the lord."

I have learned the hard way in life that vengence only causes you more pain and hurt, as well as the person you are seeking revenge against. Then you have a problem all over again. Many times vengence occurs because of the hate and lack of forgiveness that we hold again others. It is much easier to hate someone than it is to love someone. In my personal life when the hate or hurt that I am feeling toward something or someone I try to sing or recite the song that has become a savior to me in hard times. rue meaning of forgiveness, and in doing so we will have no need for vengence. I think if we ever learn to love ourselves, then we will find it is much easier to love others, we have wronged or hurt us. I want to be able to forgive those we have hurt me or wronged me in some way. Why does it seems so much easier to hate someone, when it says in the Bible, "To love thy neighbor as thyself?" Sometimes I know it is hard to love others, when we can't and dont love ourselfs. Seems like no matter how hard I try to forgive a person and say I have, soemwhere down the road that vengence always seems to wanna sneak back into my mind, especially if the person has wronged me again. I closing I believe that if we can learn to love even in hard times and adversity, then love and joy will surly increase that we share with other. The more hate that we carry around in our lives the more miserable we become. It says: Loving God, Loving each other, making music with my friends, loving God, loving each other,a nd the story never end. But, somewhere in my mind I seem to find that a daily struggle and so hard to do.
