It is certainly true that our lifestyle has changed rapidly, especially with the advent of computers. Many people are excited about computers' use insisting that they make their lives easier and more convenient. However some people assert that computers only complicate their being and make it more stressful/ So the purpose of this essay is to look at some arguments for and against computers' use and to express my own opinion about this very important topic.The first reason why people bind computers complicated and stressful for themselve
It is important to mention that computers help students in their studies by getting different information through the Web. The second argument against computers is that they have a negative effect on people's psyche. For example sitting at a computer for long periods of time may cause eyesight ruining. s if that there are quite serious health consequences of sedentary lives in front of computers. That is why we have more free time to spend with our families and friends. Furthermore in our everyday lives we have a good chance to make some purchases, to read the latest news and even to pay for public utilities with the aid of computers and the Internet. However I am convinced that the points in favor of computers prevail. The most important advantage of computers' use is the real economy of time because of doing all the chores by these smart machines. And the last but not least reason against a wide use of computers is that computers and the Internet have made direct human contact less and less necessary. So we should use the benefits of the progress that make our lives easier and more convenient. People often work under the stress because they fear that one day employers would replace them by computers for money economy's reasons. Personally, I think that the future is with computers because computer technologies are extremely tempting. Even the letters sent by electronic mail usually reach their addressees in a couple of minutes. It is said that people have the illusion of community through the Web when in fact there is no such community.
