A commitment to serve others has always been on the forefront of my mind. success, believing that there is a need to find alternative solutions to social issues confronting our society and communities worldwide. I am committed to assisting others and being part of a cause which drives me in my personal philosophy of life. I anticipate receiving satisfaction from the intellectual stimulation of my classmates, and being part of a team of professions who share the same goals as I do. For the first year and a half out of college I worked in Human Resources. Through my coursework I hope to master effective ways to raise money for such causes, build meaningful and lasting relationships with donors, and educate potential donors on various issues. Shortly thereafter, I was recruited to work for the CEO where I was first exposed to their Capital Campaign. Upon reflection and personal experience, a career in philanthropy and fundraising became even more apparent to me, and working along side the CEO and Development Staff has provided me with a better understanding as to the importance of fostering relationships between business and community.
