When people think of a major event that changes their life, they're probably thinking of marrige, the death of a loved one, or changing carrers. In my life a major event that changed the way I am was moving out of my house and learning how to be independent and survive on my own
             A big part of moving out that most people don't realize is that there are a lot of responsibilities that go along with it. The very first responsibility I came across was buying all the necessities to furnish my home. For me this was very challenging because I didn't save up enough money to worry about what I needed. Milk crates were being used as an entertainment center. But hey, I finally had my own place, who could complain.
             The second responsibility was feeding myself. That became difficult when I decided to buy myself a cat. There would be some days I wouldn't eat, just so I could buy kitty litter and cat food so the cat wouldn't starve. With another life that I had to take care of, that animal always came first before me, I had responsibilities.
             I would always budget my money at the beginning of every month, which was very difficult. There were so many things I needed to think of; there was food that was bought on a weekly basis, rent, electricity, phone, cable, and gas that all had to be paid monthly. I would have to take out loans from the bank some months, just to make it. Which just added another bill the next month, only this bill had to be paid with interest. I was starting to come to the realization that the world is much harder and tougher then I could ever imagine.
             After I finally started adjusting to this change in life, I lost my job. Things could not get any worse! I spent every day for the next week and a half searching for a job. Finally I landed a job as a delivery girl at Dolly's Pizza Place. The only bad thing about that job was that they paid minimum wage. Aft
