Who am I
I am Kewain. I am a 19-year-old freshman who attends MACC on a basketball scholarship. Basketball maybe my favorite hobby today but it hasn't always been that way. I grew up in small town in the southeast corner of Missouri called Wyatt. The population there is around 300 people. In this small town is where most of my family stays. My great- grand mother, Pearl William, moved there from Mississippi when she was about 40 years old. She had 7 children. All of them relocated except for her youngest daughter, Rebecca, who was my grandmother. She had twelve children, eight girls and four boys. One of those girls was Page, my mother. My mother and six of sisters remained in Wyatt to help take care of my grand and great- grand mother. I come from a very close and loving family. They trained me when I was young, teaching me right from wrong, how to behave, and the values of life. My dad was
My mother made me quit before the first game because I made a C on my report card. For the most part, I am a quiet, laid back person. Most of my friends had been playing for a long time and taught me the rules of the game. For most of my life I was an honor student. I like to go out and have fun, but most of the time I like to just kick my feet up and relax. I think that god has given all of us a purpose and task to carry out on earth. I want to major in art and become an art teacher. I want to be able to help people the same way I was helped growing up. Due to our size we did not have our own public school. That's why I want to be a teacher so mad. The next year I asked my mother could I play again and she said I could under one condition that I keep my grades up. I used to just play for fun but never really go t into it. I continued to play in class but that was about it.
