Love
We have all come across that small four letter word that means so much. No matter if it is towards family members, friends, or in a relationship, we all have experienced love. When asked, what is love? Most people would not have an answer because they feel that love is hard to define. I feel that true love is even harder to define. What is true love and how do we know that the love we have is true?Loving a family member is different from a friend or an intimate partner. You still love them, but the feelings are different. It is easier to love a family member unconditionally than it is to love a friend or partner unconditionally. Some people feel that family is family no matter what and that a friend will come and go. Love should not have any limits. Loving a friend should not be any different. Not only should you love family unconditionally but friends and partners as well. Love just does not exist within family members and friends, but it also can exist within a community. Understanding does not mean that you agree with them, but you see their perspective of the situation. Love is not self-centered; instead it ought to be thoughtful. Everyone wants to feel cared about in some type of way. Loves deals greatly with a person's feelings and feelings should not be taken lightly. Give that individual respect if you care about them. Forgiving and forgetting are true qualities in a loving a relationship. By believing that person and having faith that they would do whatever is rights shows that you have true love for them. Honesty is always the best policy, and we should always be honest in any relationship. Love does not count up wrong doingsShowing a person that you care about them and their well-being lets them know that you have love for them. If respect is not present in any relationship, the individual feels useless and does not feel loved. Pain happens in everyone's relationship, but if you focus on the good things, the bad things does not mean as much. Often it does cause pain and it can hurt. Understanding is needed when dealing with love. We all are humans and we are entitled to make mistakes.
