israeli conflict
In this paper, I will discuss the conflict that has occurred between the Palestinian Arabs and the Jews, it has been in existence since the 20th century. Although both groups have religious differences, this is not the essential cause of the conflict. The struggle has been entirely over the control and entitlement of land. Before 1948 the area that both groups were claiming was internationally known as Palestine; then following the 1948-49 war, land was divided into three parts known as the state of Israel, West Bank, and the Gaza Strip. Many Jews claimed that the land was a biblical promise granted to Abraham and all of his descendants, but also known as a haven from European anti Semitism. Palestinians argued that this land has been their occupancy for hundreds of years and they represent the majority. They also stake claim to the biblical notion, stating that Abraham's son Ishmael was the forefather of Arab, and because of this; God's promise of the land includes them as well. They are angry that they have to compensate Jews
This debate and hostile violence has been going on for countless years and seem to continue to go on unless entitlement of the land is properly granted. The belief that follows this movement states that "all Jews are constitute one nation (not simply a religious or ethnic community) and that the only solution to anti Semitism is the concentration of as many Jews as possible in the Palestine/Israeli conflict and the establishment of a Jewish state there. I do believe that the Palestinians have been given the short end of the bargain, and justice has undoubtedly not been granted. Because of this disaster many nations interfered and tried to enhance the international support for the creation of a Jewish state, by giving them already inhabited land. Midwest Web, Middle East Historical and Peace Process Documents. They seemed to have lived on the land for countless years and therefore should not have to divide land because of some other nations treatment. By doing this, politicians argue that violence would decrease and they would finally gain their own state and the Jews would be secure with theirs. The Arab community became aware of the intentions of the Zionist movement and tried to oppose the migration of the Jewish population, when their feelings were not taken into consideration, they became enraged and would not sit by and allow their land to be conquered. for the hate crimes and genocide that Europe bestowed upon them. This ignited violence better known today as terrorism. D " The Zionist Movement" The North American Review, vol. Yes, it is a tragedy considering that the Jews had to endure harsh treatment during the Holocaust, but I sympathize solely with the Arabs.
