A Bird In The House: Death and

Love and Death scenes of Margret Lauence's A Bird In The House book. Vanessa hasseen throughout the book there are three types of death; physical death, death of arelationship, the death of a previous life or the death of a dream. Vanessa has been through a lot of family deaths. Some of these deaths have been un-preventable, such as the stillborn baby sister of her's. When her grandfather Connordied, it was un-preventable. He died of a stroke and Vanessa wasn't even there. Also, when Mr. Pearl was going through his death, her father was just there to watch him die.Vanessa was very inconsiderate about his death, she talked grotesquely about it to hergrandfather, just to stand up for her father. Also, there were also some deaths that mighthave been prevented. For example, her uncle Roderick died because his eye was shot outand it made the war tougher for him. He might not have died if he hadn't lost sight in hiseye or he didn't lie about his age and go to war

Grandfather Connor also had a relationship break up. Grandfather Connor's previous life diedwhen grandmother Connor forced him to go bring uncle Dan inside. In the book A Bird In The House dreams died and many people's past livespassed away. Weather the death is physical, of a relationship or a dream/ previous life, Vanessahas seen them all. Vanessa started out by seeing her grandfather Connor interfering andsplitting up relationships. Connor would let them know they were not accepted.
