Bread as you know, is used and still eaten today. Bread was probably one of the first foods that was eaten. In comparisom we still eat soup the only thing that has changed is there is more variaties today. Now we eat food that has chemicals, pestisides, and is processed. Sure some of the styles have changed but clothes in most ways has stayed the same. Trading helped us form our way of life, it gave us inspiration to explore and to see what else is out there. We bathe everyday at least once or twice. These are all a much more faster and comfortable way of transportation. Men hardly shaved, most men today shave their faces. As you can tell they were almost always dirty, today if we walked around like that people would pass us off as hobo's! I am bringing this to a conclusion by telling no matter how many centuries have passed some things just do not change. Some of the common items that they traded were slaves, people, animals, foods, land, weapons, crafts, jewelery, clothes, cloth and other goods. We now travel by automobiles, trains, planes for long distances, buses, bicycles, and motorcycles. I am not very proud of these advancements, their weapons at least did not have the power to wipe out a entire continent. But they help defends us and our allies against enemies. So by comparing them you will find that they have mostly stayed the same. They wore shoes, the more wealthy the more elaborate they were, some peasants went barefoot but most wore a type of sandal, and when weather got cold the wrapped their foot in cloth. They washed hands with water no soap. If they do change it is probably for good reason not just because someone got up and decided it was going to be this way.
