Enemy at the Gates
The Enemy at the Gates takes the story of a young Russian soldier who was catapulted into history because of his heroism during the World War II battle at Stalingrad. Vasili Zaitzev was a true to life person who learned at a young age of being a sharpshooter. He chose to join the Red army in support of defending the country. Vasili quickly became popular because of his ability to kill the seemingly invincible German Army with his sniper skills. It was in his efforts that his reputation had grown to serve as a valuable point of inspiration to his fellow soldiers and Russian civilians.
