age of the universe

The Age of the universe is argueably mankind's greatest discovery of the 20th century. Astronomers say the age of the universe is between 12-20 billion years old, and scientists at NASA say the age of the universe is 13.7 billion years old .As if that's not already hard to comprehend the universe is expanding! Now your probably wondering how does one calculate the age of the universe and how do we know the universe is expanding. Well hopefully this ISP has the answers you are looking for. So lets take it In 1915, Albert Einstein developed the General Theory of Relativity, which explained how gravity works. When Einstein figured his theory must apply to the wholeuniverse aswell, he realized that all of space should be either contracting or expanding.Although Einstein refused to believe his own theory like all astronomers for thousands of years before him he had assumed that the size of the universe was not changing. Meanwhile, on another continent, Vesto Slipher, an astronomer at the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff , Arizona, was finishing a detailed study of the night sky. He examined several of the faint, fuzzy nebulae that he saw in his telescop

Then based on what we already know about the universe and stars we may figure out the age of the stars and add 200 million years , because stars only evolved 200 million years after the big bang. so a major question arises , how could there be 6 days (24 hour periods) if the universe and the world were not fully completed. The oldest globular clusters contain only stars less massive than 0. when the torah speaks about the creation of the world it states 6 days and on each of these "days" parts of the universe were created (sun, stars ,earth, water , ect. To properly understand the age of the universe one must understand how the universe was formed. A star that is twice as massive as the Sun will burn through its fuel supply in only 800 million years. You are standing on a sidewalk with you eyes closed, and you hear the sound of a car's engine getting louder, what does this mean? This means the car is getting closer. There is another way astronomers can calculate the age of the universe ,by trying to find the oldest stars . One ,that the universe is not 12-16 billion years old and that the universe began when Adam( according to torah the first man ) was born, and what ever was before then , if there was something before then we don't know and its not important. A star like the Sun has enough fuel in its core to burn at its current brightness for approximately 9 billion years. Schroder states on day one we have the creation " and there was light"And what is light referring to the big bang explosion sending light in all generations, the birth of the universe. The proof to this is that 200 years ago astronomers could not tell whether the age of the universe was 20 million or 20 billion years old.
