Prayer in school

             Prayer in the schools is thought to be an agreeable practice by many people, but in reality, it is not allowed by the constitution. The constitution clearly states the division of church and state, meaning that government and religion should not mix. That is the reason why praying is banned from schools. Some parents send their children to catholic schools in order for them to get well-educated and have a class in which they are taught in depth about their religion, while other parents do not want their children exposed to any type of religious practice. The banning of prayer in the schools is a great condition because it separates two different environments instead of having them clash and create problems.
             There are many reasons and facts of why prayer in schools is banned. One is because there are a variety of religions on all campuses. The religions found on different campuses vary from Christian, to Catholic, to Buddhism, to Protestant, to Lutheran, and many more. If the mixture of these religions was ever permitted, it would probably cause the students to separate into different groups and also cause them to put others down or exclude them from school activities just because they are part of a different religion. If students ever did separate because of religion, then they would not have the pleasure of interacting with people of who have different ways of thinking and different beliefs, the beliefs not necessarily meaning religious beliefs. There have also been many reports of student conflicts which have begun due to conversations about religion, which have to do with the argument about what beliefs are correct, and which ones are ridiculous. Another reason for banning prayer from schools is because it violates the rights of those who do not pray or believe in God.
