Things that got in my way of learning.
             As a young teenager, high school was scary. I took it as an opportunity to grow as a person. My main priority was to learn as much as possible. But there was always something that got in my way of learning. The reasons that I couldn't learn in school were the focusing parts. Where ever I turned there was something distracting me, whether it be my crazy friends, my maturity level not being up to par, or some of the teachers not taking pride in doing what they were paid to do.
             First, it's hard to focus as it is while in school. But when my friends and I would get together havoc would break out, especially when they would throw tables on the school roof. The deans would want me to tell them who had done it cause they new that I new, but I wouldn't. So of curse rather than learning I would be stuck in the dean's office, stapling papers for hours. They would also take the teachers attention away from teaching, and yell at them for throwing wet paper at the unpopular students. And the best stunt, which got in the way of me learning, was the time they super glued the teacher's bottom to the chair she sat at. She didn't get up from that one, but neither did my grades. Maybe I wasn't ready for high school; I really wasn't mature enough to choose my friends wisely. Which brings me to my next point.
             Next, maturity level is a big factor in growing as a person. If you not mature enough to concentrate, it's extremely hard to learn. I thought I was bad but I look at my sister and I believe the maturity status is weakening. When I see the way she acts I can't even imagine the teacher could even conduct class because of the horrible behavior. Back on to my learning difficulties, when the teacher would say something to the class I would, and sometimes wouldn't hear what she was saying. Not that I wanted that to happen,...
